PLOT offers libraries a free, easy-to-use, and professional website management system.  No Web development experience is needed to manage website content; comfort with a Web browser and basic word processing are all that's necessary to create and edit Web pages.

PLOT is built using Plone, a powerful open source content management system that sits on top of a Zope application server.  All PLOT websites are hosted and supported by the PLSB; libraries access and edit their site content through the Internet.

The process begins with a memorandum of understanding that is agreed upon by both PLSB and the library.
