The Public Library Services Branch (PLSB) is pleased to announce the launch of the Public Library Online Templates (PLOT) program for B.C. public libraries.

The goal of the PLOT program is to provide small BC public libraries with a complete web site solution. The vision for the web sites includes:

• current content editable at the local level through a front end, web-based WISYWIG interface;
• high functionality for patrons;
• individual choice of logo and colour scheme specific to each library and professional design;
• central control of content where appropriate (e.g. updating of database links, etc.);
• central hosting on PLSB servers.
